In order to become a food critic, you are expected to know everything about food, from buying, preparation and cooking, to what should be served during the peak season as well as where foods usually grow.
For you to learn the basic and fundamentals of foods, you should take at least a certificate of a degree course such as culinary arts, Le Cordon Bleu or catering in any Cooking Schools available worldwide. Each of these courses center their teaching on theories and practice of cooking which will soon introduce you to different cuisines from all parts of the world.
